Auto Attendant …

allows you to control call routing within your organisation, eg: 

“Welcome to Mercury UK. Please press 1 for Sales, 2 for Customer Services or 3 for Accounts”. 

This service is ideal for companies that have multiple branches wishing to have a single contact telephone number, or to distribute calls to more precise locations. All of this is configurable by time of day or day of week, and with the extra option of a voicemail facility, any messages left for you can be sent to a specified email address.

Call recording …

is an effective method of recording phone calls without the need for costly technical investment. The service allows you to record all, or segments, of your inbound calls. When your number is dialed, a pre-recorded message is played to the caller stating that calls may be recorded, after which the call is delivered immediately to you. At this point, the system records the dialogue and saves it as an audio file that is then automatically delivered to a specified email address. 

Fax to Email …

is a very simple service that basically allows you to receive faxes sent to your business, directly to a specified email address, as a document. The service is ideal if you’re on the move, but more importantly it can make valuable savings for your business by cutting down on paper, ink and even storage space. 

Follow Me …

is often referred to as a personal numbering service.  It can be set up so that your calls divert between any number of destinations – office, mobile, home or voicemail – and the benefit is that the contact numbe r attached to it need be the only number required to contact you. 

Time of Day …

allows your calls to be diverted to different destinations depending on the time of the day, and the day of the week. It has the optional feature of a personalised pre-connection message to greet callers, before routing the caller to the preferred destination. It has the additional option of a voicemail facility whereby any messages can be sent as audio files to a specified email address.  

Call Queuing …

Instead of hearing an engaged tone, callers can be placed in a queue and hear a variety of comfort messages whilst on hold. The service can also inform the caller of their current position within the queue, and also play different types of hold music whilst they wait for their call to be answered. Rather than risk losing those important customer calls, let your customers know how important they are to your business.
